Windows Azure Agent

The ISO file contains the following three directories:

• Centos6-Rhel6Rpms
• Sles-OpenSuseRpms
• UbuntuDeb

To install the package on your distribution, please refer to your distributions documentation on package installation.

In addition to the Windows Azure agent, a patch must be applied to the storvsc_drv.c file. We have made a patch that will apply to a Linux kernel v3.4 available for download here. If a kernel other than 3.4 is in use, then the attached patch can be applied manually. Failure to apply the patch can result in data loss, so it is strongly recommended that the patch be used.

NOTE: As of December 2012 we will no longer be updating this ISO file. Please refer to the WALinuxAgent Github account to download and install the agent manually. Also note that many distributions have begun to package the agent as well.
